About Renovo
Renovo is the clearinghouse the renewables industry has been missing. The first wave of solar assets is hitting end-of-life, and an optimized platform to handle that wave hasn't existed until now.
Make it easy to retire and install renewable assets.
The renewables industry built itself on standardized financing, modeling, and interconnection. End-of-life is the missing piece. Asset owners face decommissioning decisions today with no transparent pricing, no standard RFP format, and no easy way to compare recyclers' bids on price, logistics, ESG, or recovery rates. In parallel, recyclers and decommissioning entities want more volume, but struggle with disjointed, disparate deal flow.
Renovo sits between them. We aggregate assets, automate RFPs, score bids against owner-specified weights, and bundle nearby projects so recyclers can fill a route and owners can capture discounts from volume pricing.
What we stand for.
Every assumption behind a number is published and editable. The math owners see in our free calculators is the same math the marketplace scores bids with.
We give owners and partners the real economics, even when the honest answer is to wait, recycle, or walk away.
We don't favor any party or outcome. Recycle, donate, or repower — we surface whatever actually pencils for you.
Opt-in bundling, independent owner consent, and feedback on every bid. No one gets packaged together or rejected in a black box.
The people behind Renovo.

Clean Energy Project Manager at NV5 and a licensed Professional Engineer (PE, Electrical Engineering). Gavi holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University. He started Renovo after seeing firsthand how fragmented, manual, and opaque the end-of-life and repowering process is for renewable asset owners.

Pilot phase, opening for design partners.
We're building a small cohort of pilot partners across every part of the lifecycle to refine the marketplace mechanics, the bundling thresholds, and the bid-scoring rubric against real projects: asset owners with end-of-life systems, recyclers, decommissioners, NGO and donee organizations, and EPCs. If that's you, or you expect to be in the next 12 months, we'd like to talk.
